You & Who's Army?

The fall colour palette of beige, grey and anything military-inspired are not only splattered across the runways as the hot trend this season, but the camouflage-ish colours ooze over into make-up and across nail beds, alike. For their fall launch, Chanel's new nail polish collection, Les Khakis De Chanel ($25 each), was created by Peter Phillips, Global Director of Chanel Make-Up, in order to celebrate Vogue's Fashion's Night Out. The colours, Khaki Vert (a pale, mossy forest green), Khaki Brun (a light, stoney-taupe), and Khaki Rose (a dusty, pastel-ish rose-beige) are all muted-out, frostless, opaque tones that are so perfect for fall-- they can be worn alone or when combined together, create for an edgy, urban chic camouflage effect.
